The Challenge
Lavoro Design operates a creative workspace in Clerkenwell, one of London's most connected neighbourhoods. They had already secured a Vorboss 1Gbit/s symmetric leased line directly — but needed a managed network layer on top to handle firewalling, switching, wireless coverage, and day-to-day support without hiring an in-house IT person.
Our Solution
We installed a Fortigate 60F firewall, a 1028P managed PoE switch, and four Cambium XV2-21X access points, all housed in a wall-mounted cabinet with PDU and patch panel. The 60F handles traffic management, VPN, and security policies on top of the Vorboss connection. The entire network is managed and monitored 24/7.
The Result
Lavoro has enterprise-grade network infrastructure without the enterprise IT team. The Fortigate 60F gives them proper security and traffic management on their Vorboss line, the four APs cover the whole workspace seamlessly, and they have 24/7 support from our NOC for anything that goes wrong.
