The Challenge
Heritage Workspace Tamworth is a multi-tenant office building where each business needs its own secure, isolated network connection — but none of them want to manage their own IT. The workspace operator needed a turnkey managed WiFi solution with per-tenant VLANs, individual onboarding for every new occupant, and end-user support included so tenants call us, not them.
Our Solution
We installed 11 Cambium XV2-2 access points covering every office and common area, connected through an EX1028P core switch and two EX1010P distribution switches, all secured by a Fortigate 40F firewall. Each tenant gets a unique ePSK (encrypted pre-shared key) for their own isolated VLAN. Connectivity is a 1Gbit/s IDNet FTTP line, and every tenant gets a physical LAN port in their office alongside WiFi. New tenant onboarding includes a setup call and documentation.
The Result
Tenants get enterprise-grade connectivity with zero IT overhead. The ePSK system means onboarding a new business takes minutes — generate a key, send the welcome pack, done. The workspace operator has fully outsourced network management including end-user support, and has not had to deal with a single connectivity complaint since going live.
