Managed FortiGate Network for Bullion House's Baker Street Showroom, London
Bullion House (BH International Ltd) buys and sells UK bullion and PCGS- and NGC-graded coins from its showroom and offices at 111 Baker Street, Marylebone, London.
The Challenge
Bullion House had a Vorboss leased line at 111 Baker Street, but the firewall in place had not been supplied by Vorboss, and nobody was sure who owned or managed it. For a business handling precious metals and customer payments, an unmanaged firewall was an unacceptable security risk. The office Ethernet points were not working, so staff could not use wired connections, and there was no single party responsible when something went wrong between the line, the firewall and the WiFi.
Our Solution
We replaced the unknown firewall with a fully managed, end-to-end Fortinet network: a FortiGate 100F next-generation firewall, a managed FortiSwitch 148F to light every Ethernet port in the office, and Fortinet Wi-Fi 6 access points for wireless coverage. All of it is managed from the FortiGate as one secure fabric. The equipment is leased for the term, so there is no capital outlay. With Bullion House's authorisation we also manage the Vorboss leased line support, so any issue our monitoring picks up is raised with the carrier without the Bullion House team having to chase it.
The Result
Bullion House went from an orphaned firewall and dead network ports to a fully managed enterprise network, live in May 2026, within weeks of the first site visit. Every Ethernet point is live, WiFi covers the showroom and offices, and the business has clear ownership of its security with 24/7/365 monitoring from our network operations centre. One support contact now covers the leased line, firewall, switching and WiFi.

Bullion House: frequently asked questions
What is a managed FortiGate service?
We supply, configure, monitor and maintain the FortiGate firewall for you. At Bullion House that means a FortiGate 100F, a managed FortiSwitch and Fortinet access points, all monitored 24/7/365 with the equipment leased for the term.
What should a business do if nobody knows who manages its firewall?
Replace it with a managed firewall that has clear ownership. Bullion House's inherited firewall on its leased line had no known owner, so we replaced it with a managed FortiGate 100F and took responsibility for security, switching, WiFi and leased-line support.
Can you manage leased line faults with the carrier on our behalf?
Yes. With Bullion House's authorisation we handle Vorboss leased line support, so issues flagged by our monitoring are raised with the carrier directly.
